The rolling deletion service allows you to configure your Onfido account to delete the applicant data automatically after the specified number of days.
Rolling deletion means that applicant data will automatically be scheduled for deletion 'X' days after the check completes and will be permanently deleted 'Y' days after this request. This will apply to all checks from all your applicants. The 'X' and 'Y' days can be configured for your Onfido account as per your business requirements.
How to check if the 'Rolling deletion' service is enabled on my account?
If you are an 'Owner' or 'Admin' user for your Onfido account, you can verify the current status of the rolling deletion service from your Onfido dashboard settings. Read more about user roles and permissions here.
Steps:
- Login to Onfido dashboard with 'Owner' or 'Admin' user account.
- Navigate to the Account tab on the left panel and click on the Deletion service option.
- Scroll down to the Rolling deletion section and follow the below screenshots:
